The trial
OYLA Classroom is an early version. The trial is free for 30 days and may change while we learn what teachers need.
Your data
Your name, work email, role, state and school. While you use the trial we record what you do in it: pages and tabs you open, buttons you press, how long a page is open and active, how far you scroll, what you search for, and your answers to our questions. Also the kind of device (for example Chromebook or iPad) and a rough screen size. We use this only to learn what teachers need. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash. No student data, no ads, no third party trackers, no screen recording, and we do not keep your IP address. Kept on our servers in the EU until 31 March 2027, or deleted sooner if you ask us.
We send you a few emails about your trial: a reminder of our questions, a note before the trial ends and one when it ends. Each has a link to stop them, or reply and ask. Emails about your account (confirming your address, resetting your password) still come.
